It is great to see this being discussed on Texas Hunting Forum. We invented Deer Smoke Screen because there was nothing else on the market that was all natural and replicated mother nature. We are simply replicating something that is natural to the environment by creating a thin stream of smoke with all natural products. This is not an attractant, it is simply an incredible cover scent that has proven results after years of development. Now that we are patent pending, we can offer it to the public on our website @ www.deersmokescreen.com. Our videos speak for themselves and we are coming to retail stores soon. You have my word that this is no gimmick, ~Keith

It is another one of those gimmicks that claims not to be a gimmick that will in the long run, just separate you from your money.
There are hundreds of gimmick items available to "attract" the hunter who are trying to "attract" the deer and about the only thing they wind up "attracting" is your money.
Hunting is not all that hard to do, throw out some corn to hold the deer for a few minutes, hunt with the wind in your face and then shoot.

DCS, I respect your opinion on gimmicks but our product is not one. I agree that there are plenty of gimmicks out there but our smoke has helped countless bow and rifle hunters kill deer even after the animals were downwind.
It is not an attractant, it is an all natural cover scent. It does not attract anything, it simply hides your scent.
Strike a match in the bath room and what do you smell? Only smoke... and when you use Deer Smoke Screen, the animals only smell the smoke.
Killing any deer may be easy, but harvesting a mature buck is extremely difficult, and it is why there will always be new and innovative techniques employed by hunters.
Deer Smoke Screen was invented for hard core hunters to throw a curve ball at mature bucks. Every mature buck has survived that long because of his intelligence and his nose. We have a way to fool that nose and it is simply a cover scent that replicates mother nature. It is proven to work and will work for you if you give it a try.
It is made in the USA and it is very affordable. After all of the money that we spend on hunting, it is very frustrating to get busted by their noses and not kill your deer. Why not try Deer Smoke Screen for a little money to confirm that it is not a gimmick? DCS, How can you say it is a gimmick without having used it and after seeing the videos? I can tell by your innovative water set up that you love hunting and it is your passion, like it is for me. You have my word that it is not a gimmick and our results speak for themselves.
God Bless, ~Keith

Well, look if someone wants to spend their money on all that stuff, then they can. All I am saying, it that every time you turn around someone else has that "miracle product" that is absolutely necessary to kill a deer.
The deer smoke, the scent blocker, the deer lick, the cough suppressor, the deer cain, the deer this, the deer that. C'mon, really! All that "stuff" is needed to kill a deer?
How in the world did anybody, ever kill a deer without having to having to spend hundreds of dollars on stuff?
It is an absolute WONDER how our parents and grand parents, who when the meat supply got low, grabbed their 30-30 with open sights, went out into the woods, with no camo, found deer tracks and waited, ever killed a deer. It's a wonder I tell you.

Well guys everyone here makes a good argument to use or not to use scent control. I have decided to try this one out and see what happens. I just placed my order and it cost about the same as doe urine, buck urine, racoon urine, all which I have used unsuccessfully. So if this doesn't work it didn't break the bank. I will report back the results to everyone to let you know. I am on a new lease in west Texas that has not been hunted on in years. I have feeder set up with deer coming in to feed. I will be using pop-up blinds to hunt out of. The blinds are already set up and brushed in. Just a little history here so that the members of THF will know that I do not know anyone at deer smoke screen and what my setup is like so that when I report back it will be an honest opinion

Actually, the old fashion way, to me is a lot more fun then just sitting in a blind like I do now. I have a ton of great memories ambushing deer while hiding in the brush.

Sounds a huge gimmick to me. All the wildfires here were the deer running to the smell the smoke? I dont think so! True it maybe a different type of smoke but smoke none the less. I taken more deer using scent control and being in the stand than when using gimmicks.. example.. tinks 69, tinks smoke sticks, doe in heat scent drippers..etc. Maybe I'm old fashion but it works and lots more fun and challeging. Good luck selling smoke.. but not to me.

We mailed out 203 tubes in the last 2 weeks. We have a lot of repeat customers. This could have been one of our many followers.
We have African guides that like it better than the zebra dung they burn for scent control over there. The African guides that we met at the Dallas SCI convention over the last 2 years love it because they have been using smoke for scent control for ever. This method was taught to them by the local tribesmen.
I have quite a few guides that swear by Deer Smoke Screen~ Hardwoods. Bear, predator, and pig hunters love it as well. Proof is in the pudding and we are selling more than ever. It simply works and if you try it you will see.
Why are you guys against something that you have never used?
I can understand that this goes against conventional wisdom but it is a cutting edge strategy that really works. If you use it at your lease or ranch, you will kill the deer that have eluded all of the other hunters.
Take the leap of faith and try it and you will see that they can't smell you through the thin stream of smoke, and it does not spook them.
Why would people keep ordering it if it didn't work?

People are naturally cynical of new products. That is likely because of the gimmick type products that have come before them. I've seen your website and it does appear you have quite a few people that endorse the product. Give it time and others will be less cynical as more people try it and endorse it.
