Bucks at Fort Hood are not reacting whatsoever to Tink's stinkies and rattling. East of there, but same latitude.

We have a place 20 miles north of Brady. My father was out there today and said he saw several smaller bucks, and several good bucks already chasing. Like chasing with their tongues hanging out. It is starting boys. Get ready.

i hunt sout of San Saba on Buffalo Creek about 5 miles northeast of the Cherokee Childrens Home. All I saw was does opening weekend. We had one 9 point killed. He was just moving thru the area not chasing anything. His neck wasn't swollen either.

Maggie, we're seeing the same kind of thing at our place close to Grosvenor. The only deer we've seen in two weeks was a young 6. Haven't seen a doe except for the game cam in a loooong time! It still sounds like it's raining acorns too!
