New to the panhandle and looking for some feathered friends to chase and train with. Willing to drive of opportunity is right. Also would like to meet some people to train dogs with. Thanks

I guess all the quail hunter have died off in the panhandle as well. Man its dry.

Nah we havent ALL died off. Most feathered followers are anticipating dove season and not looking at the quail situation yet. I know im ready for both. On my place in north central tx i hear that we didnt have a good quail hatch if any at all this year. However a little further south we are still seeing good numbers. I think my pup knows its getting close, hes getting more and more hyper. More than he normally is. And that aint good. Haha.

I have a Lab and a Wirehaired pointing griffon. Lab is 7yo and WPG 1yo.

Thanks for looking. I have met some people around here that dog train, just not a large hunting crowd yet.

well there is alot of hunter.i know alot of hunters in lubbock just gotta ask and look around. We used to quail hunt in coleman county but just changed leases this year and dont know if there are any but will try the dogs anyway they love to do it.
