Is Clark's still open?
When I lived in Sherman, that was one of our regular places to eat.
I heard that Warren Clark died awhile back.
They had the best blackeye peas, and their apple pie and coconut cream pipe were to die for.

Sure they're still open but it's highly overrated if you ask me. Heard it was great in it's day.

We ate there all of the time back the late 80s, and it was very good.
I was the project manager for the general contractor that built Isle du Bois park at Lake Ray Roberts, and we always scheduled our job site visits around lunch time at Clarks.
It wasn't unusual to see a couple of helicopters from the Dallas TV stations parked along side the road across from the restaurant.
