We have been guiding night vision hog hunts for about 3 years after being avid hog hunters for nearly 20 years. Our success rate is phenomenal with only a handful of hunters not taking home a hog.
We currently hunt 8 properties with 16 feeders and 8 game cameras. On the afternoon of a hunt we corn an additional 200+ lbs with receiver hitch spreaders to ensure success.
We employ a walk and stalk hunting style that is fully guided. We have 4 sets of PVS-7 night vision goggles as well as two integrally suppressed .44 magnum rifles. They each fire 300 gr XTP hollow points with a sound signature similar to that of a pellet gun. Both rifles are equipped with Gen III dedicated weapons sights which are undeniably THE superior night time setup. We also use an LWRC M6A3 in 6.8 SPC topped with a D760 Gen III scope for longer shots. The LWRC has a titanium suppressor giving it a sound signature similar to a .22 LR.
Our hunts are $350 per person with a minimum of 2 and maximum of 4 hunters.
Included in the price:
There are two guides included in the price and we do not charge trophy fees nor do we have a limit on the number of hogs killed. At the end of the hunt we will skin, gut and quarter the hogs. We provide the rifles, ammunition, night vision goggles and ice. All you need to bring is an ice chests (120 qrt capacity for two hunters minimum), beverages (for yourself of course), and appropriate attire.
More information can be found at NightHogs or by calling Randy at 210-884-7311.
Here is a picture of one we took 6-28-11 at 2:30 a.m.:

You can either call Randy at 210-884-7462 as he does the booking and keeps the calendar, or myself Gerald at 210-884-7462. You can also email at nighthogs@gmail.com. As you probably saw, we are just South of you in Seguin.

Click HERE to see our new website.
We have been seeing a lot of hogs lately as can be seen on the game camera photos (posted on the website). We have also posted pics of some of our hunters and the hogs they have taken. If you have never hunted with night vision and suppressors here is your chance. Keith Warren (of The High Road) said it was the most fun he has ever had hog hunting. Rusty Baker (of Rusty Baker Outdoors) was totally amazed at what could be seen through the Generation III equipment.
We'd love to have you for a hunt.
Here is one we took last night:

Thanks for the kind words. As you know we work hard to get our clients on hogs. In fact, I can only recall one night when we did not see any hogs-AND we gave the clients their money back. How many other guide services would do that? I believe I could count on one hand the number of hunters that went home without a hog-and that was usually due to an errant shot. The main reason we have few missed shots/wounded hogs is because we usually get the hunter within 50 yards for a shot and almost never shoot further than 80 yards. It's pretty much a sure thing when you go out with us that you will be taking home at least one hog.
Here is a picture of the equipment we use:

Here is a video we shot two years ago. It is the most watched "Night Vision Hog Hunting" video on youtube. In fact, it has almost 50% more views than the 3 year old JagerPro video (which is the second most watched). After that we also have the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th most watched "Night Vision Hog Hunting" videos on youtube....but whose counting?

Kolton Warren hunted with us last night and we finished up filming for The High Road. I'm not sure if we will make this season or next but I will update as things develop.
Last nights footage was awesome from both NV equipped cameras and should make for some great split screen action sequences.
Keith Warren also posted some kind words on our NightHogs facebook page today. We really appreciate the opportunity to be on his show once again.
Here is a picture of Randy and Kolton after a kill as well as a NV pic of Kolton, Randy and Sean (cameraman).

Here's a hunt from December, but it's well worth showing. It was Shelly's 3rd hunt when I got her on this giant. Notice the single bullet hole from the 6.8 just behind the eye. Now that's some impressive shooting. Way to go!

We've been guiding about three years now and are well known on a strictly hog hunting forum. I ran across this forum but didn't see any ads for Night Vision Hog hunting (I must have overlooked yours, sorry). I figured there is no such thing as too much exposure. Hope I'm not stepping on your toes. What city are you out of?

Gerald

No not at all I hunt in Lone Oak Tx, I guide and sell nightvision. I am in the process right now on setting dates for Hunt Wicked Close to film a hunt and see how the nightvision hunts works for a hog hunting show. I think it will be a cool show for the nightvision outfitters. Let me know where your hunting and maybe we can help each other out.

I think you will have a lot of fun doing the show. My hunting partner had a problem with his NV scope one night while hunting by himself. He decided to sit at a feeder anyway to see if the hogs would come in...they did. Using his PVS-7s, proceeded across an open coastal bermuda field toward the hogs to see just how close he could get before they figured out what was up and left. The answer was 4 yards. No cover whatsoever other than darkness. That's Hunting Wicked Close if ever there was.
We typically hunt the Seguin area, but a good hookup point for us would be Burlington, TX which is about halfway for each of us. We are friends with a farmer there that has a major hog problem.

Yesterday after lunch I put out about 400 lbs of corn for a hunt last night but it rained close to an inch afterward (I'm not complaining). It didn't seem to affect the hogs too much as the San Antonio doctor and his nephew took home three nice hogs. They really had a good time and two close encounters (hogs closer than 10 yards) ensure they will have stories to tell.

We haven't hunted this property since early in the year as we haven't had the need-the other properties have been very productive. I guess we've been missing out on a few.

Cliff brought his son down from Sprindfield, IL for another hunt with us. We were excited to have him back and he brought a 150 qt ice chest for each of them with orders to bring them back full. As always we did our best to put them on the hogs. I told them by the end of the night they would be wore out and they agreed I had kept my word. We had a large property we wanted to hunt and would only hunt a second property if we knew (within reason) that we could get into hogs right after dark. My hunting partner had just the place. We got in and had our first pig loaded by 9:30. Just the start we wanted. From there we hit the large property and got into pigs immediately upon our arrival. By the end of the night we had 5 DRT pigs and one that escaped (followed the blood trail, but no recovery). The GRAND PRIZE was, in our opinion, the best trophy we have ever taken (and that's out of over 700 hogs). It was a 284 lb cinnamon colored boar with 4 inch cutters. Color, cutter size and head size are what set this one apart from all the rest. What a trophy! Cliff is already planning his next trip back.

We went out last night and got this nice 208 lb boar. One shot from the 6.8 SPC to the neck and it was over with.

We won't be able to take hunts the first two weeks of August. I'm getting out of the heat and going to my family's ranch in Colorado. Maybe I'll get to see another buck like this one I saw last year in our wheat field.

Randy and Jeff shot these nice boars minutes apart under the same feeder. The hogs weighed 202 and 208 lbs.

I've got some good game camera pics from this month. As you can tell from the picture, we have no shortage of hogs.
