If the deer is fleeing the (house)cat it must have ESP since it left 11 minutes before the (house)cat..... time was off I could here the scream of the cat as it was hunting its prey! Are you serious??? When cats are hunting they DONT scream because that would alert their prey to thier presence! Do you scream when you are hunting?? There once was a cat named Jack, Snuck up on his prey from the back. But the pickin's were lean, 'Cause he'd let out a scream Just before the attack.
I learned long ago you can't reason someone out of something they don't reason themselves into.

Several years ago I was talking with a cat hunter in Colorado and he said a cat will holler when after prey. They will cup their paws on the ground and holler into them to the ground making them apear farther off than they actually are. This gentleman had dogs and a hunter with him on the ranch next to where we were hunting. I could tell a couple of stories about east texas cats but will resist and maintain what little creditability I have. One thing I will say is if you do have big cats on your property you will notice a drastic decrease in deer density. It is believed a grown cougar will eat at least one deer a week. Saying that if you have 2 big cats in an area you will loose over a hundred deer a year.
It could be uh law I dont no. Yall have uh good un
