Anyone use these? Co-worker swears by them, but I have never hunted dove over a decoy. If they really work, I might consider buying a couple.

They work, you only need one, but you do have to have doves in the first place. I was scepticle until I used one.

They work great,I have 3 of them.They come in to the decoys.I set them out 20 yards and they come to them.

wouldn't hunt w/o one... But as mentioned above...it won't make them magically appear must have doves flying and they will be drawn in.. It's not uncommon to have them land if you aren't paying to close of attention.

I was blown away at how they work.

I also hunt where there is a gpod population of ringnecks. It seems to me like the ring necks don't really pay much attention to the mojo.

However I have killed white wings so close to the decoy that my mojo has BB holes in the wings.

It works, get one.

I have a setup of a fake tree with 3 clip ons a mojo at the very top and 2 mojos on the ground "landing" at the waters edge. Oh yeah if dont pay close attention you will have them land right in front of you next to the deeks. I have also had them land on the fake tree as well. Pretty cool. I wont hunt without atleast 1.

They work last season i had a dove circling one and was afraid to shoot him because i didnt want to take out my mojo

as mentioned above. they suck them right in. also get a few stationary dove to clip onto a fencline if you hunt near one. highly effective as well.

I first started dove hunting last year. Didn't own one at first. Opening was awesome cause there was just soooo many birds in the sky. After that, it wasn't easy getting the birds cause they just moved on.

After several hunts of only getting 1 or 2, I went and bought me the mojo dove. First time I put it in the field I walked back to my hunting spot and turned around to see three dove almost land on top of the thing. I couldn't get my gun up fast enough. That day I brought home more birds than when I was hunting without the mojo.

I highly recommend getting one of these if not more than one. Good luck in the field this year.

I start with 3 and see how the birds react to them, then will take some away if they seem to flair

Last year out west, we had limits every hunt. It took all day most of the time to get there though. I don't mind an all day hunt, but I'd rather be firing up the grill and cracking a cold one when the heat of the day kicks in. At least 50-60% of the fliers coming into the field would be out of range but well within sighting of a decoy.

If these things work as well as I've heard, we could be grilling by noon. Sounds solid, we'll give them a try this year.

I have 2 and I love them, so easy to carry and setup..worth every penny...if you're patient, you can find them for $30.

Well the price is definitely doable.

I got 1 w/ the belt setup for $20- can't beat that deal! Dying to try it out and might make my own PVC tree for it too

Got 4, i set 2 in the field to my left and 2 in the field to my right and clip 20 to the fence behind me. Worked great last year

i have one that i put on top of my homemade dove tree along with six still decoys amd it works great!!!

I got to looking at these and realized how much cheaper the wind driven models are. Out west the wind is pretty constant (unless I am hunting with wind decoys haha) so I am considering going that route.

My question is, what is the minimum wind speed needed to drive the wings on a wind model? Anyone have any experience with the wind model?

Not sure on the wind speed needed, but I do know that when my batteries were weak, the wings didn't spin as fast and the doves decoyed less. New batteries and they flocked in. Same setup same place, the next eve.

Are you getting about 20 or so hours out of one set of batteries... like two days hunting or so, before having to replace them?

No sure, but like you i have enough wind to make um spin, the directions say a 5mph wind.Never been a real issue seems we always have a good breeze,just hot wind
