Great looking Bi-Blynd! Are you gonna put in plexiglass windows?

Yes, it will have sliding plexiglass windows. The best part is that I only have around $75-$80 into the blind and tower.

Every time I build stands I want it to be the ultimate stand. Some how rather than spneding the money to do it right, I always end up scavenging materials. I guess there is just too much satisfaction in being creative. I cut the pipe with a sawz-all and beat the ends flat with a sledge and drilled holes. You have to be a little creative if you dont weld. Wish I had pics of the Blynds before. They had layed up for years and the cows crushed and sprawled them every where. I cut off the bad pieces and used the rest.

how much do you figure the blind itself weighs? Looks pretty light.

It is pretty light. If I were guessing I'd say around 25 lbs. per panel plus the floor.

man i did the same thing to mine and have had it for years. easy to move and will last forever. i could take mine down and put it in my suburban. mine ended up 4x8. i have three kids.

I once drank muddy water out of a hoof print and was dang glad to get it.

No plans, I just built it like I have done others in the past. I went 5x5 because I'll be hunting by myself most of the time and still have room for the little ones when they go.
Yesturday I took spray foam and filled all the seems and gaps. Trimmed off the overflow foam and hit it with black spray paint.Today I am cutting the plexiglass windows. After messing with it a bit I realized I may have even over estimated the weight. It is easy to handle. I wish I could have made hindged windows but I already had the slides. I dont want to nickle and dime myself until I feel obligated to keep it. If I move, I can always leave it no more cost than I have put in it.
