I have been using a mostly straight fletched arrow, and a yesterday I went to pick up some arrows and i noticed the fletching was helical (i think thats how you word it) alot more than my arrow. does this affect the point of impact much? it obviously gives the arrow more spin, but what are the advantages or disadvantages of this type of fletching?

Thank you,
Hunter

It might be at a 3 degree angle instead of helical

+1 Blazer recommends a 3 degree offset of their fletchings for optimal flight.... up
