How bout you get in your truck and spend your time and your gas and go see if there are any ducks in an area you hope to hunt?

It seems I struck a nerve. First off I don't hope to hunt there I will be hunting there. Secondly I don't see the harm in asking a simple question if you don't want to answer that is fine but I don't think it is very "Sportsmanlike" to send a comment like that.
I always thought forums were here to give people a chance to learn things and trade info and ideas.

After 20 years of working as an auto tech when someone ask me a question about their car I don't tell them to go buy a book and figure it out. If I can help someone or offer insight I always do.
Again sorry if I sruck a nerve!!!!!!!

welcome and I am sorry that this experence will be your first with this group.

kirkw I appreciate your remarks. Bring um on I don't mind getting beat to death over the question I still maintain it was a simple question I wasn't asking for specifics ie: secret spots, a favorite place or advice on where to hunt. It seems unwritten rules always get me in hot water(lol). Oh well, if the worst problem I ever have is getting beat up on a forum over a post I will be just fine

Duke - if you really want to get beat up, go over the refugeforums.com on the Texas forum

people you don't know will gang tackle you for mentioning a location within texas

actually, it is a nicer crowd here..

Yeah, I'm getting a crash course in what not to say on here. I have decided to rephrase my remarks. I will be hunting some sort of legal game somewhere in the lower 48 states at no particular time or date

thats much better

the whole deal on public hunting is if someone goes and says lots of ducks on lake X or river X then every cyber scouter in texas will end showing up there and ruining your spot. No harm ment by the beatings

Attention rickym, this is not a troll post, just a good hearted fun type of post

Duke, your question was a reasonable one and, as always, a few responded as expected. The Brazos will hold ducks and most of us hope you have great success. Post photos following one of your good mornings that are certain to come!

how about if you don't have anything constructive to say to help the guy keep your comments to yourself...i don't recall him asking for any specific coordinates and he might have certain circumstances that keep him from being able to get out that often...so lay off...

Cause we don't have to that is why. What are you doing getting on here and calling people out forgiving the advise that pretty much 95% of us would have said if we seen this first. If you don't have time to scout then you should not be hunting until you have time to scout first.
