We took our family to texas on vacation, after the kids stuff we stoped at Arrowhead Creek Ranch and did a 1 1/2 day hunt for blackbuck and axis.My oldest daughter tried for axis but we were unable to get her one ,its hard to get a younger hunter on them, we had a couple of chances but just couldn't seal the deal! My wife was able to harvest a great blackbuck the second day, 20" horns shot with a 25/06 at 90 yrds. Rick and Travis at Arrowhead Creek Ranch are very nice and know there stuff, they have a state of the art deer breeding facility.The lodge is very nice and new and the food is great!! We will be going back this fall after that axis!! Look up their website or give them a call . I would like to post a pic but i don't know how .

Congrats. I am going to chase axis and blackbuck in 2 weeks. Cant wait. Would love to see a pic of her blackbuck.

Very nice Black Buck , Congrats . I think that is what grass is suppose to look like Don . I hunted in Rock Springs last weekend and I could not believe how dry it is down there . We are praying for rain for you .

Yes the owner, Rick said it was one of the biggest bodied bucks he's ever had! The wife is really happy with him.

I was in the field this morning west of Mountain Home and swallowed 10 pounds of dust. This has to be as dry as I've ever seen it.

The Fallow on the ranch are very big and about to finish growing and rub their velvet off. Better call and book a Fallow , Gemsbok, Addax or Whitetail hunt while they still last.

Check out Arrowhead creek ranch. They have some monster Fallow, Axis and worldclass whitetails! Plus Rick and the staff are very nice people.
