I am torn between these 2. I am betting they are very similiar. I know people brag about the slick tricks fly like their field points. But from what I have been reading Most BH's will fly like FP IF the bow is tuned properly. Any input? Thx guys.

I shoot Slick Tricks but not the Magnum, I shoot the 100 grain. I like them but have never shot G5 Strikers.

I also shoot the 100 grain standards. I tried some of the grizz tricks and quickly went back to the standards. As for the strikers I wouldn't know, never shot them. After my experience with the G5 montecs I doubt that I will ever try them.

I don't think you can go wrong with either one.

We get bows in all the time shooting those two heads. Both fly very very well and are easy to tune.

These are the only two that I will shoot from now on after trying some of the other kool aid.

They are both good, but will shoot the ST Mags because of the 4th cutting edge. The wounds are big

I think the ST's are cheaper as well. Both sharp but again I think the ST's are sharper.

Slick Mags over the Strikers is what I picked, they did not fly as well out of my bow and had a little whistle in flight plus the Slicks had a 4th blade and they are cheaper. I shoot the slick mags and love them. I have yet to shoot a deer with one but if the wounds on pigs are the same or more on deer there will be no problem, and we all know how tuff pigs are.

SHot my first deer with a bow last year. I used G5 Montec and it dropped her in 40 yards, no complaints here.

Another vote for Slick Trick, I use the magnum's also. Tried them after hearing everybody talk about how good they shoot. They hit the exact same point of impact, as my field point's, out of both of my bows.

I will add another vote for the Slick Trick Mags. I actually have both and for me the Slick Tricks fly better, are tougher, and provide a better wound channel. It's very difficult to find a better fixed blade broadhead that a Slick Trick.

The exception would be for very low poundage bows (low 50s). In that case I might go with Magnus Buzzcut. 55 lbs and over is plenty for a head like a Slick Trick, and they are good for deer and hogs.

Thx guys. Just ordered ST standards. Maybe get a bit more penatration from the standard. If I need to order some magnums later on I will and try them also. Thanks for the input. Redgun, did you have to BH tune your bow for the slick tricks?

No

I installed the Slick Trick broadheads and shot them to see if any adjustment was needed. Same POI as my field tips, to at least 50 yards. up

You have a PM.
