i am thinking about buying one of these for hog hunting and deer hunting. just wondering if anyone has one. is it a good gun. thanks.

I had a Mossberg ATR in 30-06 that would have out-shot most peoples best gun. But I will say that I have seen a few that were not that accurate also. For the money you cant go wrong. Personally I would stay away from muzzle break just makes shooting a gun not much fun when you have to wear ear protection to shoot it

im pretty sure that it muzzle break comes off if need be.

I've got one in 30.06 and love it. More accurate than my buddy's 700.
