Since they are looking down some threads lets hope this can stay up a while.
Lets say you where hunting a lake you have been to for years. While scouting you find an [censored] load of ducks. When you are about to pull in (by boat) to get a closer look, out of the blue comes some one telling you to "Get off my land" kind of Jed Clampett style. You say to Hilly Billy bad [censored]; Go take a hike, this is public water and I have a right to be here". Then said low life pulls along side you and you see he is packing. Do you........
A) take the gun and break it off in his [censored]
B) Tell him sorry and leave and NEVER come back
C) tell him your calling the Game Warden
D) Say you are a guide and going to run hunts on this spot and see if he Strokes out.

I would go with "D" and if that does not work "A" looks like a good option.

Honestly I'd probably leave. When I'm out duck hunting I'm looking forward to the hunt not getting into an argument. Getting into a dispute with someone won't really solve the problem right then anyway.

Yes public WATER. We are not 100% on the other person. He said he is the land owner but can't be sure.

I would call the GW. If the guy is packing heat, oh well, just make sure you can protect yourself. If there is a threat or he decides to shoot. Has this already occured to you???? kinda sucks all the way around.
