Its ok if you shoot a remington. In most cases they will get it done. Experienced shooters know where they truth lies and it aint in a green box.

There was a show on MSNBC, I think it was, that was called "Remington: Under Fire". Was very telling of the disregard by previous management. According to the show, the problem has been solved by completely redesigning the trigger assembly. We'll see I reckon.

The trigger was never bad to begin with...remington upgraded to an easier trigger to adjust....their solution to help keep the so so gun smiths and the internet gun smiths from screwing them up and making them unsafe.

I like remington products and grew up shooting them, but it amazes me how some people seem to think that big green's products will never ever malfunction. Every manufacturer, even the best in the world, has its problems and occassional malfunctions due to quality control or whatever. To my understanding the 700 trigger is basically the same as the old mohawk 600 which for years remington denied would malfunction until they finally recalled it.

to BMD I agree with you that the vast majority of misfires aren't really misfires, it just gets me how some people seem to say its impossible
