Yes I caught him in the trap. The way he was hitting the door I was afraid I wouldn't have him long.  I had put a new trigger on the trap and didn't know how it would work. Looks like it worked just fine. Just a knot in the end of a rope held in place by a board at the back of the trap.

you know live hogs over 100 pounds are bringing .60 per pound right? by the looks of it you just killed about $180. That is alot of beer and whiskey!

Sausage is $3 a pound at WalMart too, so if you get 100 pounds of meat that's $300. Just a redneck point of view. Beer money doesn't count into the family budget anyway...
