Abilene is about your best stop unless you want to turn right off of I20 and go to Mary's cafe.... I would!!!
Big ones line-up, little ones bunch-up

Abilene- Joe Allen's steakhouse.
I learned long ago you can't reason someone out of something they don't reason themselves into.

We usually stopped at the World's Greatest Whataburger in Clyde when my kids were in the Hub City. Their wildlife mounts are great. If we were early or late, sometimes The Shack in Snyder. (Don't forget to look at the gold plated DeLorean in the bank on the square) We discovered Mary's after the kids were out of school, but that's definately where I would stop now. Shoot, sometimes I swing through Strawn on my way from Aledo to Fort Worth.

Awesome guys! So depending on when we start, it's either Mary's or Joe Allen's.

Now that you mention it I believe I need to have a Herdburger for lunch.

Skip Joe Allens and hit his ex-wife's spot...Lytle Land and Cattle. Better steaks and more "other" goodies.
