I have heard some things about this happening before. In each case that I had heard of it, The trigger had been tuned down below 3 lbs if I remember right. What was your trigger set at on your rifle?

I'm not defending them, just wondering because this is what I was told could happen on the model 700 if the factory trigger was tuned too low. Personally i like my hunting rifle around 3 lbs or so and that's why I ask.
