I am looking specifically for loads for a 200 gr cast RNFP. I don't want light loads, I'm trying to see how fast I can push them out of my 94 Trapper. The three powders I'm using are Unique, Blue Dot, and 2400.

PM sent jeh

I have two copies of the Lyman Reloading Handbook, both 46th edition. It does have 5 different cast bullets ranging from 180 gr. to 245 grain under the pistol section.

Sorry the Scan of Lyman reloading Manual did not show your exact bullet. But like you said it gives you a starting point.

I have 5 different Alliant powder manuals and I looked in all of them for Rifle loads. There were no .44 Rem Mag rifle loads list in any of them for some reason. Strange because most manufacturer list pistol and rifle loads. Might give them a call or check online if need to. Castbullet.com forum(sp) might have some loads listed or could help.

Just a guess but with the light bullet using 2400, powder will be to slow and dirty even at max loads from what I have found.
Good luck cheers

Steve has a big reloading data base. Watch because some of his loads are HOT, HOT.

Thanks James. I'm working up some test loads for the three powders staying well below max. Up to 22gr of 2400, 16gr of Blue Dot, and 12gr of Unique, a two grain range in .5 gr increment, 5 rds each. I'll post a report when I get a chance to shoot, maybe next week.
