I a looking for some opinions. I have ordered a new duck boat boat. The motor will be a 2011 Yamaha 70 4 stroke. Should I have the boat company paint the motor to match the boat camo or should I get a company to wrap the motor in camo????
thanks,
Rodney

Thats like a 6K or 7K dollar motor. I would have it wrapped. If you ever wanted or needed to sell it, you can remove the wrap. I wrapped my mercury 25hp and it looks great. You can't just remove some redneck camo paint.

You can't just remove some redneck camo paint. This is what I was going to say. By far the cheapest/easiest option is to just throw a camo net over it when you park the boat.

I agree. Don't paint a brand new motor. Camo t-shirt will do the trick. The ducks don't care.

See I buy stuff to Keep. I work hard for it, Take care of it and Keep it. I would paint. If You buy stuff to sell later then I would cover it.

Defanetly get it wrapped...I know if I were to buy a used motor I would want it to look original. Like others have said, throw a t shirt over it or some burlap.

wrap is what I would prefer on a new motor. If it were an old unit, paint would be fine.
