I had a '42 Lithgow and it shot 1.5" groups at 100 meters. It was a great shooter and very smooth with no recoil.
I almost regret trading it, but then again I traded it for a Swedish Mauser so no I don't! Good trade!!!

I've owned two Enfields and still would like to kick my own A&$ for selling them. I paid less than $75.00 for mine and now they sell anywhere from $250.00 to $350.00 if they're in decent shape.

well, it sounds like just about every one in this thread either likes theirs or wishes they wouldnt have sold/traded it... I personally think it is going to be awesome, supposed to have my head space gauges tomorrow and if everything checks out I will be slinging some lead with it this weekend.
learn something new everyday and you will have never wasted a day.

If you reload the .303 is even more fun to shoot.
I like to use Trailboss powder and load it up with sub sonic loads of around 10 grains of powder, and the recoil is like a .22 caliber rifle and it's quiet with great accuracy at fifty yards.

Thursday at 12:45 PM #33 Once i learned that i didn't "NEED" to kill something, and that if i did kill something all the fun stopped and work began, i was a much better hunter.
