Anyone ever use one? do they work for you? I just bought one and shot it a few times shot fine about 1 inch low at 20 what do you think

I would really prefer not to have anything attached to my arrow that would alter my shot in anyway, but that is just my opinion.

I used one a couple of times because I shot and lost my first deer so I swore that would never happen again. What I found is you have to be VERY careful about getting it tangled with anything while you're in the stand(including your bow hand) and I actually shot two deer while using it. The string broke both times (after impact) but the blood trail was so good because of my arrow placement I didn't even need it. If you're very careful about the shots you take and get a good hit with a good razor sharp broadhead I don't see why you'd need one.For me it was more of a security blanket after my first screw-up.
