In the yard it works great! Were going to set it all up sunday morning and leave it open until next weekend when we can get up there and check the cameras on it.

Leave it open for while let em hawgs gorge on corn and get to know there is food in there and feel comfortable with entering. These creatures are not stupid.

A good size hog that is pissed will blast right through remesh. We have had them run into the cattle panel on our traps before and get out. Not often but if they can break cattle panel they can definately break remesh. Be careful.

You need smaller holes anyways so they wont get their snout caught going in..

i like the design and the trip system too. putting metal together with fire is so relaxing when you don't have to do it for money. the holes are kinda big but you will sift out the little ones. only ideal/suggesting i could give is to take some of your old fencing and cover the outside of the doors to give the pigs something to push on the outside instead of wire. pour a little something on the wood to make them want to push into the trap.

But for now its sitting at the lease with a camera on it.
