Just when it gets as bad as you think it can here come the grasshoppers to finish off what's left. These big dudes can strip a pasture or yard mucho pronto. Check your shrubs folks they can eat them bare almost overnight. Day-um.

I think you have to have something green to have grasshoppers. Needless to say I don't have grasshoppers.

As big as those grasshopper are they would eat the baby quail I would bet. Hope there was a turkey hatch to eat some. Time to find what little lake or tank water is left with some fish in it and plan a trip.
Are idiots multiplying faster than normal people?

That would piss me off to the max. Baby blue quail running around after mommy and daddy have to be one of the coolest sights in nature.

Sprayed a bunch of them yesterday. They like Hibiscus for some reason.

Grasshoppers usually come in cycles of 3-4 years with them and 3-4 without them. This is the fourth year we have had a problem, so I guess we will see. They about destroyed half of my garden before I got around to spraying them. The fish should be fat I guess.
