whats a good scope that lets me see past out 300yards, i want to be able to pick out the holes on the target... i was looking at something like 25x - 100x, got around 200 to spend on it...

I think the magnification of the scope will be dependant on the caliber somewhat you are shooting. Smaller calibers are going to be a little tougher to see at that range. The shoot and see targets are great for helping but they get costly to buy and use.
