Persimmon Springs Ranch located 7 miles SE of Archer City is 1100 acres of prime whitetail country. Owned and operated by family members since 1902. We are opening it up to Bow Hunts only. Take advantage of hunting during October and get the first shot at arrowing a trophy deer. We have a great selection of treestands, quadpods, and ground blinds. Our wild game are fed year around. Price for 3-Day Hunt is $950. This includes lodging, some meals, and excellent hunting. This is a great opportunity to take a quality buck early in the season. Call Aaron at 940-224-1938 for more information.

Persimmon Springs buck that we first spotted last August. I haven't had a chance to scout this year but I know that he wasn't harvested during the 2010 season. This buck is unusual in that most of our bucks are quite symmetrical but he has horn going everywhere, must have been injured when younger.

It might help if you show more than one deer. Not trying to be a donkey, but it always helps to show what has been killed. The two pics appear to be the same deer.

Somebody asked for pic of harvested deer. Here is one above that measured 136". We had at least 5 deer harvested last year that measured above this one. All were harvested by gun on our 12,500 acre ranch that borders our 1100 acre bow only property.

Yes, all ( 13,500 acs.) of it is low fence. Archer County has quality bucks and many of them reside or travel through our property. We offer gun hunts on 12,500 ac., and bow hunts on approx. 1,000 ac.

Rifle hunts on Flying M Ranch run $1500 for a 4 Day Hunt. We manage and conduct the hunts on the Flying M. This ranch is our neighbor to the North. The booked hunt includes 1 trophy whitetail, hog, or 2 doe. We provide campfire meals throughout the hunt. Lodging is in trailer or Outfitter's Tent, your choice. We provide transportation on the ranch. Hunts are conducted at select stands and feeders. This is ranch has good trophy potential on a large, low-fenced ranch. Please call (940)224-1938.
