Channel 5 news came all the way up here to hang out with us Saturday and Sunday to film a segment on wild hogs.

They got here Saturday afternoon to video setting up a few traps and getting them ready then we went out Sunday morning with them to check em. We ended up getting 5 little hogs, nothing gigantic. Then later Sunday evening we took them out hog doggin which was an experience. We didn't get anything with the dogs but they still had a good time.

Supposed to air Thursday night at 10:00 and then again on Friday and they said they'd have a longer "web extra" version up on their website.

They're just going around Texas doing different wild hog stories and it was time for them to come to North Texas.

I was hoping we'd get some big ones. I'm surprised we didn't get any out on the dog hunt. The land owner there had been shooting at them pretty much every night though, so he might have finally ran them off.

I'm just glad we didn't come up empty handed when they were here because we don't catch hogs every single day and we only had 3 days to prepare for them to show up. They called us on Wednesday and showed up Saturday morning.
