I've put in my order for RPG's 22 can so I am looking to stock up on some subsonic 22lr ammo. What type of 22 subsonic have ya'll had the best results cycling semi-auto's? A friend of mine has had good results w/Aguila subsonic in his supressed 10/22 but hasnt tried anything else....

CCI std velocity. Functions great in a Walther P22, Buckmark camper and a Ruger 10/22. I know it is not listed as subsonic but it is quiet.

I use Winchester Dynapoint or Remington Match; both are very quiet and cycle my P22 and 10/22 just fine.

Do not shoot the 60 grain as it is not stable enough to be shot through the suppressor...... Chuck Ross told me that so it is not my quote. Remington in the green box is the best shot through the ROSS suppressor. Me and a buddy have shot 6 or 7 and that performs the best for us. I am sure there are others but that works best for us.
Shhhhhhhh better to be quiet than remove all doubt..

Remington green box is what has tested best in my suppressors. CCI is pretty good too.

At ~800ft MSL, the speed of sound varies from 1150 to 1250 depending on atmospherics. This falls below the "standard velocity" range for match ammo.
So, any decent target ammo is going to be subsonic. I squirreled away some wolf SK before it got too expensive. I have also had good luck with Winchester T22, and CCI Green label.

sk standard plus, rws rifle and target match, fed gold medal, lapua center x and midas all work great for me. most good target ammo is either standard velocity or subsonic. if you shoot standard vel in a pistol it will be subsonic
match ammo is way more consistant and usually a lot more accurate in most guns. I have used rem sub sonic suppressed and some would be sub and some would be supersonic, they are not at all consistant.

It doesn't cycle but Remington's C-Bee .22 is amazingly quiet.
