Bought a new target to shoot in my new backyard. Brought the bow out from the case, and the Cable Slide is broke.

SO need a new one, but what are the advantages to the pulleys versus just a slide?

I have heard they increase pull weight. I am fine with 70lb though. I have heard they are smoother, and have also heard they are not.

SO what should I buy? Brand? Type?

Thanks

I'd just replace the slide with a new one. Not sure how you add pulleys without totally changing the geometry of the bow...
