This is a Kansas buck my brother shot last year. I finally got it finished and ready to ship.

Great looking work, my personal preference would be a wall mount with that form looking around that wood. As is it does show off the full profile of the rack nicely!

Man that is one of the better quality mounts I have seen posted on the forum, as far as life like and realistic. I personally like the scratching post he's rubbing against. Think it brings him back to life.

Not crazy about the pose but damn !! that head looks like you just cut it off the body and hung it there. It's soooooo lifelike, great job !!

With mounts like this, its more about the artwork and about having something different in your trophy room. Its not really about trying to pose the deer in the best way to show off his rack. I love mounts like this, and they are such a nice change from your standard wall full of shoulder mounts.

Who did that form and do you remember the model # of it? Hugh's in Palmer Alaska now and may not check the forum frequently so I hope he doesn't mind me answering your question. He used a Joe Coombs CPP101L for this mount.

I really like seeing different and creative ways of displaying mounts rather than the traditional poses most guys use. This is a fantstic mount. Great idea, great work
