This maybe a silly question, but how do you do replicas? Do you just take a lot of photos of the fish while out fishing, or do you take it straight to the taxi in the live well then run him back out to the lake? Or do you need to take measurements with a tape while on the lake? I have a couple fish mounts but they are the old fashion fish on the wall, I like the replicas a lot better.....

Duck its actually a question that gets asked all the time you take the measurements. Then take as many pictures as possible every angle and every detail, you can never have enough Pictures.

texaspride- Ya you are right replicas last longer and in the process you make PETA happy by releasing the fish.

Lake Fork Taxidermy does some of the best work I have seen. They do all the replicas for the TPWD Sharelunker Program
