looking for a deer lease around the san marcos area for 2 people we will both pay seperatly from 1500 to a 1000 a gun. I have a high fence ranch but wan tmy genetis to keep growing and want to hunt in south texas to be close to my house and business. It would be me and my wife and wewill manage the herd and work on the place and take care of it as our own. Plus I have all the farm equipment to bring in to make a place a better deer habitat as I have to do at my game ranch manageing my herd plus the land at the same time. I also have an agriculture business degree and with a batchlors in land managment and am currently working on my master. SO if any one need land improvement to let me hunt and pay to hunt I am willling to help improving your land while manageing your deer herd.

Does your landowner know you're going to use his equipment for your personal lease? I'd be very upfront about that with him.

Your other post said you manage a HF ranch and wanted to pay $1000 or less.
So you're wealthy enough to own a HF ranch with "high breed genetics", i.e. deer that you brought in that cost many, many thousands of dollars a piece, yet you only want to spend $1.5k or less on a lease?
Most of the guys I know that own HF places spend $1000 on a nice dinner. I guess you're a frugal fellow.
Good for you.

Nope just manage money sir I'm not frugel but as u an all of us know the economy is not what it used to be. But I am willing to pay a good price for a deer lease is that hard to ask plus this is the first year to sell hunts on my place so u have put a lot of money in the quality of animals I produce on it and feed bills are expensive. So I am just wanting a deer lease I can help improve on Im not trying to start a controversy just asking for help to find a lease.

wow cameron a little offensive there. i know you started off with good intentions, then went off on a man you dont know for owning a hunting ranch and wanting to hunt somewhere else and not kill his profits. EEKS good luck bbuer i am looking for the same thing as you because i am not "rich" and own my own ranch lol. i have a pretty sweet deal where i can go in late season and kill culls and does for a bottle of whiskey, but would like to be able to hunt whenever i want
