How long a shelf life do these have?

I just bought a custom Mauser 98 in 264 Win Mag. It came with 2 boxes of reloaded shells and the date on them was Oct. 1968. Are these shells still good?

Not knowing their history of storage I wouldnt use them as you might get excessive pressure.

Much safer to pull the bullets and reload them yourself. Why risk a million dollar a** to save $40.00? LOL JMHO
