I was in Brown County this past weekend and the birds weren't reacting to the calls. However, they were coming to the decoys. As long as we weren't calling the birds wiould come in, the second a sound was made they would turn away.

I'm in Deleon, 5 miles south of town. They were responding but not approaching, kind of skiddish. they are there though. I had one come in about 5 feet from us, but we were pig hunting and didnt want to waist a chance of getting one. Where abouts are you?
