Is there really any advantage to upgrading bows besides having the best looking, newest bow on the market? I currently shoot a Mathews featherlite. No way she's the best looking but she shoots. I thought about trying to grab a switchback XT but I'm not sure if it's worth it. Anyone shoot a switchback XT and wanna give a review?

I shoot a switchback xt and really like it. It performs a lot better than I do. I keep thinking about getting a new bow, but cant pull the trigger. The XT will get the job done.

I shot a switchback xt for a while. Shot really nice and smooth. I killed a ton of stuff and won a couple of small 3D tournaments with it. I wanted more speed so I started shooting the PSE XForce. I love the speed I get out of them but I do miss how smooth the switchback xt was. My wife shoots a Mathews DXT and she can draw it a lot smoother at a higher poundage than she can a binary cam bow. If you want smooyh and quiet the Mathews is the way to go.

I have a MQ1, its several years old now. My motto is if its not broke why fix it other than to have a new one.
