I thought after last quail season they were extinct. But yesterday I heard one rooster desperately whistling for a hen to help him repopulate the species.
Anyone else hearing any yet?

You're not listening out near Whiskey Flats in Benbrook are ya? I had six of my birds get out and they are hanging around. It's cool to hear them calling in the morning and evenings.
