Most have left dens here as well. Each den almost always holds a snake or two all year long for some reason. Maybe they are assigned guard duty for the summer. hehe.

due to the now warm weather, dens usually have some other critter in them. its weird, almost every snake den i check, that is empty of snakes, now has a skunk living in it. sometimes a few will come back on colder days/nights but not like in February or so.

So not knowing much about snakes, cause i really don't like to think about them. When they leave the den they usually don't return until it gets colder, is that right? Cause i really don't feel comfortable walking around outside or in the garage now!
