Ok, I just got on a lease about 4-5 miles out of town in Hico, Texas; I saw signs of animals, but obviously I did not see anything, please tell me that this is a good hunting area

If you were heading into town on 220 (I am coming from DFW), when you run into 6, take a left and head out about 4 or 5 miles; it is right off 6

I did see a lot of tracks and the ones next to the ponds looked pretty new, but in the couple hours I was there, I did not see a physical deer, so......

We had a lease outside of Hico for four years. Last year I saw two does the entire season. We had one decent buck shot on 900 acres. Hopefully you will have better luck than we did.

We own 50 acres about 6 miles out of Hico on hwy 6, but its on the left side coming from town. i always see deer on our place. Keep your feeders going year round and feed plenty of protein, and it should be good as long as your neighbors aren't shooting it up!

You get any pigs? I really did not see much evidence of hogs while I was out there, but he claimed they come through
