Hi,
Just wanted to be polite and introduce myself since I'm new. I'm Jenny, wife of a Texas cowboy living in New Mexico now. We are in the hunting business but we are also hunters. I'm a brand-new beginner to the sport, but my husband has been hunting for 30 years. He used to own an archery range in Lubbock. I wouldn't be surprised if some of you know him!
Anyhow, this is an amazing forum and I am looking forward to learning a lot!
Thanks to the moderators--I can see that you work hard! I've never been on such a large forum.

 Well shucks m'am. Pull up a chair and tell us how life is in northern New Mexico. Used to play around a bit in that area between Chama and Pagosa Springs.

I was one of the unexpected "guests" in the Springer High School gym for 2 nights and 3 days during the 2006 snowstorm that shut NM down after Christmas. Nice town. Really nice people.
