I need some new camo for a hunt in South Texas. I am thinking about the Realtree AP HD - what is everyone wearing down south?

I like Brush Country camo and even better, depending on what you are doing is a ghillie suit from Rancho Safari. JMO

I don't hunt down there, but from what I can tell it would be hard to beat Brush Country!

Brush Country is the pattern. Here's a link to their website. You can also get a limited selection of their products from Cabelas. http://www.brushcountrycamo.com/Shopping/default.htm

not really a fan of camo, but when i wear it its usually bushlan green.
i've found that it works very well for early season when everything is still green
brush country is my 2nd choice, i have a few shirts and they are pretty comfortable.
For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

If I'm in a box blind, blue jeans and a shirt. If I'm hunting from a pod, total bushlan from head to toe[green, until the leaves fall off].Later in the season if I'm on the ground rattlin or hunting a pod, total camo[gray] head to toe.

I think brush country is to light/white. Advantage max 1, bushlan, I think wetlands is a good all round camo because of the colors.
