hmmmm how do i put it. the deer on our place were like roaches. they were everywhere. we were usually done hunting by 8-8:30 they would just disappear as the sun came up. we had a small peice of land though. pigs were there, we didnt see them everytime we went, but when we did it was usually a group of 8-10. In three years we were on th eplace we killed 1 coyote. we seen more, but could never shoot them......(across the property line)

there are some good deer out there if your patient...i think its a good area to hunt.

We hunted just outside of Cisco, just east, bout 2 miles or so. 9 hunters, 6 deer killed, 7 coyotes and more buzz tails than you can shake two sticks at. One year and gone.

I work hard, drink a little and hunt when I can.

Hunted one mile from I20 south of Cisco alot of LITTLE bucks and does one shooter buck in 3 years .
sigh of alot of hogs but only seen about 10 in day light ,we had to give it up just not what we are
looking for (the one shooter was just legal as the state 14 inch deer let him walk so he may still be there.)
Their is my 2 cents hope it helps.

Hunted west of Cisco about 2 miles for 1 year. I saw 5 deer and 1 bobcat through an entire season. I hunted every weekd from Oct through Jan. I shot 1 doe and 1 spike. Hogs were there but only saw one in daylight during bow season. I hated it and I will never hunt Eastland County again.

I've hunted about 6 miles south of town for most of my life.

There is a lot of game in the area, but you have to wait them out. It is impossible to spot-n-stalk, the cover is just too darn heavy.

hunted south of cisco about 5 miles and in 8 years shot one 15" 8 point. Everything else was small and trashy with some does. Hogs moved in the past couple of years.
