I've never heard the "beavers dislike the sound of running water" theory. Very interesting...........

Buy you some Belisle #330 super traps and some real good castor lure and you can catch all of the beavers in that pond. You will have to do some reading on how to set traps .

My newest idea is pretty aggie engineered. Since last time when I jumped on the lodge the beaver swam out the bottom. So I figured bet a big ole net and place it at the bottom of the lodge. The proceed to bump fire the ar into lodge scaring each and ever beaver out of the lodge into the net. Then I should have a net full of beavers.
Tannerite would be fun but its way too dry out there right now. Don't much want to burn our farm down. If they lift the burn ban I'm all for it.

An expensive, but awesome alternative.
Buy a dozen full grown standard dachshunds and let them loose near the lodge, an epic battle for sure.

I had never seen a beaver in my life. Saw a nutria while varmint hunting in Katy last year. Shot it and it turned out to be a beaver. Felt bad so I had it mounted. They have a smell that I will never forget...and have floated several creeks since then and can pick out that scent when near beaver inhabited areas. unmistakenable. I'm assuming its the waterproofing oils on them that cause the smell.

Not sure that the smell comes from that oil, but I think I'll just leave this one alone!

Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting.......holy kaka.....What a Ride!

Blowing up wasn't my first choice as I wanted to have a hat made out of the beaver skin
but if shooting doesn't work I'll have no option but blowing it up. You may get part of a hat out of blowing up the lodge.... www.tanerite.com this will help you.
