I have two or three Mag-lites, 3 D cells and was wondering if there is a way to increase brightness by using a different kind of bulb. Any suggestions without rewiring or a lot of work?

Short of replacing it with an LED head, probably not.

The Candlepower forums are for flashlight nuts. If anyone knows, they would.

The xenon bulbs are way brighter than the krypton bulbs. Krypton bulbs are brighter than the standard bulbs.
