Do you just periodically make passes with your light? Whats your method?

we turn it on before we start calling and scan quick to see if anything is already out there and pretty much leave it on the whole time just dont leave it on one spot for a long time. put the halo above where they might be. their eyes will glow up like crazy when the light barely gets close to them. so no need in burning them out

Amazing how many are curious and will stand there and watch. If you check some of my posts with the killin chair I run quick 360's always keepeing the light moving.

I recommend using a rheostat. you can pick them up from lightforce on numerous websites and they are worth their weight in gold!!! whether you are using red or white light they will keep ou from putting too much light on the animal. do swift 360's with the light on dim and when ou pick up the eyes you can see how they react to the light. when the animal is committed slowly turn up the light on him until you can make a good shot! leave the light on at all times, and use a rheostat!

Just make sure you don't turn off the light or not keep them in the edge of it after picking up eyes. The light is what keeps them from seeing you.

If you are turning the light on and off you will lose animals.
Good advice up above!
