Would a 410 work for yotes? I can't use a rifle where I hunt, unless it is a guided hunt.

If you can get them in close enough it should work. I would want a bigger gun but if it's what you have then get a good buckshot load and give it a whirl. Just plan on watching a lot of them out at 75-100 yards running off after they wind you. Good Luck and thanks for your service.

It will work certainly, just that when going shotgun only you have to deal out a few passes now and then. I personally enjoy shotgunning coyotes, lots of calling skill required and that is what makes it fun. Generally a good decoy is required for consistant success with shotguns. I've never personally used a .410 for them, so I can't really suggest a particular load.

Thank you for your service, sir.

I think calling them in close and blasting them with a .410 would be fun! It's going to require being real still, well camo'd, and keeping your scent off 'em.

Make sure it patterns well in your gun, but Hevi-Shot has made a sound specifically for preditor hunting. Supposed to give better penetration than lead shot.

i have several guns i use depending on range and terrain 22mag, (22 hornet my favorite) 223, a 410 just seems too light

Not in a .410. The largest shot size they have for a .410 is #2 shot.

I got this one with a .410 slug at 45 yds. She was running hard right to left.

Will work for sure. I killed my first two deer with a bolt action 410. First one was a spike I shot twice and the second was a doe that I dropped at almost 50 yards.

That is one reason I wanted to use a 410, because the slug is so small. And cheaper than 12ga

Make sure you group them before you go. Different brands group differently.
