Check baydog.com under classifides. They have tons of dogs listed on there in all price, breed and experience level ranges. If you buy one I would suggest making sure the seller is ok with a two week trial period. Just another way of knowing if the seller is actually selling a good dog or junk. Doesnt always work, but can help.

x2 on baydog.com, Ill ask around but most of the doggers I know are around Canton. How far are you willing to travel to pick one up?
No doubt about the AR crap, just damn shame hunters don't have self control and knowledge

loaded question....
Strike dog, catch dog, hot on trail, cold nosed, low-mid-long ranged, gritty, tight bay, no teeth.......just to name a few.
You better get schooled real quick or your going to be out some money, most dogs can't find a pig.....

figure out what you want in a dog, basically from the list dogo provided, and then hunt with the dog before you buy it or be prepared to be disappointed. I was told once that you buy a coon dog under a tree. Buy your hog dog at a bay. Try and get the seller to let you see the dog hunt by itself as well as with other dogs. If he won't take you hunting with the dog, find another one to buy.
