my wife and i can't decide between 2 names (its a boy) help me out, almost out of time: Kayden or Keller Dude, seriously? Just listen to these lyrics and apply either name. Just think of your boy's future.

update: thank you all to those who opened our eyse to the wierdness of our name choice. i know we were getting cutesy and need reassurance from you guys. input and p.m.'s were greatly appreciated. we decided on Kody Don Horn. much easier to say "kody with a k" then have to spell out some wierd name. it is still somewhat unique, but stands a better chace at bieng somewhat more normal. i feel Kody to be a more manly name too. thanks,

May Kody live a long, happy, healthy life and bring many smiles to the parents that care enough to agonize over his name!

I would tend to go with the less unusual choice, my parents thought it would be cute to give me the same first name as our last name, I'm still getting comments about it and everyone thinks its cute but the cuteness for me wore off about 35 years ago.
that said, I feel for you, we've got our first kid coming in august and have been racking our brain trying to come up with names, had decided on "Oliver James" until a friend pointed out the kid woudl have the same initials as OJ Simpson

Kody is very good choice for a boy with a first letter "K"
Our 1st son was Kanon, pronounced cannon. I had wanted that name forever for my son. As mentioned before we now have Kade and Kase, but I also like the following:
Kord Kane
Kody is a goodun for sure. Congratulations.

Kody, Kaden, Keller, Kyle, Kent. Kids become who you call them with time then they are all perfect. One of my grown kids name is Michael and all his life folks have tried to make him Mike. I'm Kent and for sixty years folks have tried to make me a Kenneth, Ken, or Kenny but no way Hosea. Good luck.

I'm a Jon - with no 'h' in the name. Parents told me that was a common spelling among the Scandinavians in Iowa that they knew. All my life I've been correcting people. Having a unique name was never important to me, I just wanted one everyone could spell.

He will always be correcting people that spell his name like 99% of the other people called Cody. I don't know why people think it is cute to spell a name wrong. He is going to have that name the rest of his life, not just when he is a baby. My . I'll go now.

I have the benefit of getting to know 70-100 new kiddos every year. Some of them have cutesy names and most of the time they don't like them. I think you made a very wise choice that your son will be grateful for in years to come going with Kody.
I see it spelled with a K more often now than I do with a C, it's just how things are going.
My name is Casey. I am not overly fond of it- it has become a girls name over time. I've only ever met two other male Caseys, there were three female Caseys in my graduating class of 39. The teachers used to call roll as "Casey, Kaci, Boy Casey".
Seems to be more popular now to go back and use older names. I fought like a madman with my wife over the name for our baby. My point of contention was that the kid will only be a kid for 10 years. For the rest of his or her life a cute name will be a burden. I'd rather have a kid with an "old man" name who won't be handicapped when he tries to enter the business world.

Probably because his name starts with K there jackwagon. Means a lot to pass down same initials to your boys to some folks. Lotta people spell Cade, Case, and Cannon with C's, but we used K because my name starts with a K. Rant over.

Definitely Keller. It's closer to Killer.
I'm just glad one of your choices wasn't a verb. You know, Bob, Neal, Lance, Pierce, Trip, Jack, Rob, Skip, Chase, Tuck, Hyde, etc.
