If I can get off work then maybe some Rick's caberet with SM!!!!   then we will part way's and call em' up good and buzzed and start samshin' head's for a month and a half!

april 2nd i will be eating the bird that i killed on march 19th... provided i get to go hunt in refugio county...
if not, ima be eating the bird i kill on april 1st in lavaca county lol.

Hunting in Zephyr, Brown Co. - most birds we saw ever. Folks of 12-30 and at the same time from 4 different blinds! Major excited!

I'm going down this weekend to play around at the ranch. Sometimes they are gobbling this early. Last year the birds were already henned up by opening day. Made it hard to bag a gobbler.

If all goes according to plan, the last week in March I'll be in Mountain Home, TX. April 1st I'll be either in Sabine or Newton trying to take an eastern. The 2nd weekend in April I'll be hunting in Menard, TX while on a speaking engagement. If I have any tags left I may try a few spots in the grasslands. Jack-where is Mt Home TX?

PUMPED! Headed for Nashville this week for the NWTF convention to cover the event for the radio show. (Big Billy Kinder Outdoors on WBAP 820am and 96.7fm DFW and bigbillykinderoutdoors.com)
Talked to Walter Parrot today and were hookin up on Sat. I need to pick his brain more and more cause were always learing, I'll pass it on, on the air and the website podcast in coming weeks. Tune us in on Saturdays while your "vesting up" for the day this spring. Let me know how your doing where you finding em and how your doing it. We'll get it on the show and pics on the web.

At the ranch in Erath county. There is one bird that I tried twice to get this fall season but missed both times. He's a beast of a turkey.
