I think taking the dog to the vet is best and safest. I had a pup with Coccidia once. Its not a pleasant thing. I hope things work out for you.

Exactly...I wouldn't expect the first "pile" to be fixed by by the 2nd one you should start noticing some firming up.

She hasn't gone at all this morning. Did vomit prior to eating breakfast. Normal activity level. Is drinking and wolfed down here food this morning which included a little bit more pumpkin. Also tried to get her to drink some pedia-lite to replace lost electrolytes but Maverick seems to like it and helped himself to most of it. confused2

FWIW...

Sounds like a stomach bug that will need an antibiotic. Personally I would withhold food for a day and let her stomach settle down. And then reintroduce her food but make the portions smaller and add a meal or two.

Thanks for the info Angie, I sure hope she is well enough to come see you on Saturday. The wife is looking forward to meeting you as well. She is a little nervous about her baby girl going away for three months. crying

I have to agree with Angie on this one, I have always been told to cut the food completely for the first 24 hours.

Vet will prescribe metronidazole (flagyl) and it should knock it out! At least that is what they would probably do for an adult dog, sure sure on pups. That is assuming there is not a blockage etc. My bet is a stomach bug given what you have stated.

They'll give flagyl. Just a lower dose.

Hope she's better too Cable. She should be. Just be sure to bring her medication if that is indeed the case.

She hasn't gone #2 at all today. Must have clogged her up pretty good. Not planning on giving her any dinner. Still drinking and active. Played fetch with a frisbee outside and she was balls to wall as usual.
