Soft earth, near river bottom, north central Texas, hog tracks approx 3-4 inches diameter/across, with slight dew claw marks. What size hog might I be expecting? All sizes tracks all over, this so far is the largest. Haven't seen any of them yet, can't find their daytime bedding location. Move thru at night.

Track sizing.

Small = .17 HMR

Medium = .223

Large = .300 WSM

Biggest track you ever seen = Goodluck see'n em

Pigs are the 4th smartest animal in the world, the bigger they are the smarter they are, like Pig Ninjas.

IF you ever see one go for the ear shot ONLY and throw the kitchen sink at that son of a gun.

Goodluck and post if you get em

I'm hunting with my Diamond Edge bow. I'll have to be close. I've tried stalk n spot unlike spot n stalk, still and popup blind tactics. I'll find them and bring home the bacon...

Where can they be? They're like phantoms of the prairie...and, what about a guess to size on the tracks?
